Home Made Bread with Peppers

There is nothing like a home made bread. Especially if you have your own wood oven – Bingo !

This time i did not prepare this delicious bred in the wood oven but it comes out really fantastic.


  • 500 gr flour type 400 (American cake flour)
  • 35 ml sunflower oil
  • 5 gr dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 200 ml lukewarm water
  • 50 ml yogurt 

Home Made Bread with Peppers


Place all the ingredients in the bowl and start working. Kneed a fine dough and leave it to rest. Take 2 medium sized peppers and chop them into strips, thinnest as you can (you can also use food shredder machine).

Mix the peppers with the dough and start kneading. You will get wet dough, but don’t be afraid. That’s the way it should be !

Leave it to reach 1 hour and let bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees (bake first 10 minutes with a fan). You may have to bake another extra 5 minutes, depending on what kind of oven you use.

And that’s it. Now you got bread that is great for sandwiches, so tasty that you can even eat it seasoned with quality olive oil.
