Lars Van De Goor is born in 1964 in The Netherlands, in a houseboat, next to a farm, located between lakes and meadows. His first camera he bought in 2007 and today he works as a professional photographer publishing and selling worldwide. His work got noticed almost immediately and gained rapid popularity. Four years on he appeared on the top ten finalists list of the 2010/2011 Hasselblad Masters Award, recognized as one of the most prestigious photography awards worldwide. Lars has recently become the winner of 2016 Hasselblad Masters Award in category Landscape/Nature.
Lars creates majestic lanes resembling a natural gothic cathedral, lightful edges of elf forests, empty paths and ominous thickets as seen in suspense movies. As he saying – his main goal is still where it once started with: to capture nature’s magical moments and show its beauty. He describes his photography style as Dreamy.
